Disley Parish Council has been awarded Quality Parish Council status by the National Association of Local Councils.
The accrediation panel commended Disley on both its application portfolio and “the vibrancy and enthusiasm which is apparent in the work of the Council within its community”.
The Parish Council was also commended for its commitment to the promotion of local democracy, the fact that Councillors hold regular surgeries and its interactive website.
